What can you expect when you visit Cheltenham and Cotswold Dental

Cheltenham and Cotswold dental is situated inside a beautiful period building with many of its original features including high ceilings, plaster mouldings overhead and stained glass in the front door. With spacious waiting areas and surgeries, the practice has a beautiful airy feel.

We are a multi-disciplinary cosmetic and specialist dental practice with 4 surgeries where we provide a vast range of services including general dentistry, hygiene, periodontics (gum treatments), Invisalign, traditional metal & white braces,  lingual orthodontics, facial aesthetics and implant treatments.

Who will I meet first?

Your first contact is likely to be with our wonderful reception team; Casey and Sophie. They are on hand to help you every step of the way, whether it is to help you book your appointments, greet you at your first visit or help you complete your medical history. Casey and Sophie are friendly and approachable to make your experience as relaxed and easy as possible.

Our treatment coordinators

You may also have the pleasure of meeting or chatting with Sharon and Lizzie, our treatment coordinators. We have two highly experienced dental nurses who work as our treatment coordinators who are here to help and advise you on the stages of your treatment and ways that you can spread the cost of treatment. They are here to answer all of your questions along the way or to explain things in greater detail.

What can I expect at my first appointment?

At your first visit you will be greeted by our reception team and asked to complete some forms either verbally or digitally. Then you can take a seat in our waiting area where you can either sit back and relax, keep up to date with our latest news and health tips on our screen or have a glass of filtered water.

When our clinicians are ready one of the team will escort you to the correct surgery where the new patient consultation will be carried out.  We will gather all the information required including any digital intra-mouth scans or x-rays, giving you chance to highlight your dental health and smile goals, asking any questions that you may have.  All our clinicians have been handpicked with due attention to their chairside manner to ensure you are put at ease throughout your treatment process.

State of the art equipment

Cheltenham and Cotswold Dental have some of the most advanced equipment to enhance your treatment experience these include three digital scanners that can be used to create a 3D virtual representation what your straightened teeth will look like. These scanners are also used to avoid uncomfortable impressions for gum shields, retainers, crowns, bridges and implants.

The practice also has a Cone Beam CT Scanner which produces a precise, high quality, detailed 3D image of your teeth, sinuses and jaw bones using the lowest possible radiation dose. It is a key diagnostic tool to ensure the very best outcomes when it comes to complex procedures such as bone grafting and implants.

Treatment options

Your clinician will discuss all the options with you in surgery and will send a detailed estimate of treatment required with an adjoining estimate. You can then talk things over with our treatment coordinators if you have any questions or need and advice on payment options.

Our background

The practice is conveniently situated in Cheltenham with ample car parking. It is jointly led by Practice Principals Imran Nasser and Samantha Stewart. Imran and Samantha have been best friends for two decades from the moment they began at university. These strong bonds are the bedrock of the practice, set up in January 2020. There is a shared ethos of mutual trust and co-operation; this is reflected throughout our team who pride themselves on providing excellence and outstanding patient care.
