Emily qualified as an orthodontic therapist in 2014 and was awarded the Gold Medal in Orthodontic Therapy by the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. Trained in London’s prestigious West End, Emily has worked in specialist orthodontic practices and has tutored orthodontic therapy students at King’s College Hospital London. She regularly attends courses to continue developing her own skills and knowledge.

Emily strives to deliver excellent care to our patients in a relaxed, friendly and professional environment.

Emily is a keen runner and enjoys countryside walks with her husband and two children. She is also a qualified sports massage therapist and has a degree in Sociology from the University of Warwick.

What is an Orthodontic Therapist?

Orthodontic Therapists are registered members of the dental team who work in conjunction with orthodontists. Emily’s qualifications and experience enable her to carry out virtually all orthodontic procedures according to treatment plans prescribed by our specialist orthodontists. Having Emily at our practice means that our orthodontists can devote more time to diagnosis and treatment planning, our patients will receive more personal attention from the clinicians, and there will be more availability and flexibility for appointments at peak times and for emergencies. Overall, with the whole team overseeing a treatment plan, the experience of our valued patients will be greatly enhanced by this most innovative approach to the provision of orthodontics.
