David is a Specialist Orthodontist at Cheltenham and Cotswold Dental.

David graduated from Newcastle University in 2007 and was awarded the Undergraduate Radiology prize. Following graduation, he gained a broad range of experience in general dental practice, community dentistry and maxillofacial surgery. David was awarded the Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties in 2009.

David then took a year out to work in the dental hospital in Melbourne, Australia. This provided experience working in another healthcare system, while exploring this vibrant city. Following this, David spent time travelling through Australia, New Zealand and India.

On returning to the UK, David was selected for orthodontic specialist training at Birmingham Dental Hospital. During this time, David gave regional presentations, national poster presentations and was published in national journals. David has been an Orthodontic Specialist since 2015 and also works as an Orthodontist in Bristol and Topsham, Exeter. David is the secretary to the Bristol Local Clinical Network of Orthodontists.

David is competent using metal and clear fixed braces, lingual braces and Invisalign aligners. His specialist orthodontic training and further education allows him to use the orthodontic technique most suited to the individual and he always treats his patients in a calm way.

Outside of work, David spends his spare time with his wife and three young daughters. He manages to keep fit in the gym, but skiing and travelling have been put on the backburner for now!
